Trombonist Antonio Ricafort from Las Vegas, Nevada began his studies on Euphonium in his middle school band. He discovered the trombone and began to pursue music professionally.
Antonio has experience in various chamber settings, including solo and brass ensembles. He was a member of The Las Vegas Academy of The Arts Wind Ensemble and Philharmonic Orchestra during his high school career. In 2022, under the direction of John Seaton and David Maccabee, the Wind Ensemble had the opportunity to play at The International Band and Orchestra Midwest Clinic in Chicago. During his time at the Academy, The Wind Ensemble worked with various professionals, such as Timothy McAllister and The Epoch Percussion Quartet.
Antonio Ricafort is currently studying with Richard Harris at The Lamont School of Music University of Denver. He has worked with a number of professionals, such as Hitomi Shoji and Nathan Tanouye.
He plays on a Shires TBQ Alessi trombone and Alessi Signature Series Laskey Mouthpiece.
